REFLECTION TASK 2B : Sherlock Holmes  - The Little Details

     

      This part is from Sherlock Holmes movie which you can easily remember if you watch this film :) . In this part, this woman demands a prediction about her life. Initally , Mr. Holmes  is unwilling to make assumption. However,lady insists and Mr. Holmes doesn’t refuse lady’s desire at last. Although the lady is excited about his predictions, she is out of touch with its result.

   Sherlock Holmes start his assumptions by saying her profession. Later , he mentions about a child who the woman gives lessons . As the conversation goes on,

Mr. Holmes says a little bit unpleasant things which the lady doesn’t like these comments. However , these assumptions are true and the lady doesn’t deny these predictions. Later , Holmes goes on with lady’s relationship status . Nevertheless, it is the  straw that broke the camel’s back. Holmes says this woman broke up with her fiancé. Unfortunately, her fiancé passed away and because of this reason , mark of the ring is still on lady’s finger.

   I think this part of movie tells us that we can easily make assumptions which they are maybe true. However , we should consider that when we say our feelings and assumptions , we should consider other people’s feelings and thoughts also .We can hurt people especially when we are  know about them little things. Hence, I really like this scene which teaches us to be polite.
